Emily Maynard Returns Brad Womack’s Engagement Ring!

This latest “Bachelor” season was a strange one for me. I was thinking (and commenting) all season that Brad and Emily seemed to be the ones with the chemistry, despite what series insiders were leading us to believe. But that chemistry seemed to disappear the moment the ring was on Emily’s finger.

Now, Emily Maynard has returned that engagement ring to Brad Womack. After just a few short months together, the engagement is apparently off.

And how did the break-up occur? Well, “OK!” are reporting that our lovely Emily was not such a lady. She dumped Brad over the phone this week! That being so, “OK!” was a little hazy on how Emily returned the 3-carat Neil Lane engagement ring to Brad but apparently she has.

The problem is reported to be that Emily felt too much pressure to move to Texas with her 5-year-old daughter Ricki and to conform to Brad’s lifestyle. Well, we could have told her a while ago that Brad’s refusal to relocate was likely to be a deal-breaker.

Emily has stuck to her guns and refused to uproot herself and her daughter. This latest in a series of break-ups and make-ups was apparently one too many.

“Finally, Emily told him she can’t do this anymore and ended it,” a friend of Brad’s said.

The writing was always on the wall: Emily not feeling ready to marry Brad; Brad’s temper and refusal to relocate. Eventually, someone had to call it quits and Emily was the one to do it.

Are your surprised Brad and Emily have split? Let us know what you think about this latest “Bachelor” break-up?
