On Tuesday “The Bachelor” blogger wrote the following:
“I can tell you right now that Jef and Emily broke up this weekend. Done. Over. No longer engaged. This isn’t being reported anywhere else. No magazine or gossip site has it yet. It’s just what I feel comfortable in reporting based on what was told to me.”
An official announcement is yet to be made about the split, but Emily and Jef haven’t been posting messages to their Twitter or Facebook accounts since Oct. 5.
A source told Hollywood Life that Emily wasn’t going to join Jef when he was in California last week.
“We were told that he would be with Emily but found out the day before that she would not be staying with him after all,” the source said. “Prior to heading off to the event, he seemed relaxed and carefree, taking in the sunset in a VIP Surf Cabana at Pacific Edge Hotel, which was fully stocked with sliders, Mahi tacos and pitchers of alcohol.”
When will the official announcement come, anyway about the Emily Maynard and Jef Holm break up?
Reality Steve posted this as well:
“Right now, they are in the process of figuring out how they are going to present the breakup to the media, when they’re gonna release the statement, and who the statement will be released to. Could be tomorrow, could be in a few days, could be next week, could be in two weeks. I have no idea. They have a few things that obviously need to be sorted out and they’re gonna need to figure out what the reasoning is they want to give the media.”

Emily and Jef were engaged about seven months. What went wrong between them after “The Bachelorette” 2012 aired?
