Emily Maynard and Jef Holm reunited Saturday night after being apart while Jef was on the east coast. He went to South Carolina for the weekend to meet up with his family. He didn’t elaborate on if that meant Emily was flying to South Carolina to join him there or if he was leaving for Charlotte.
Jef tweeted Saturday night:
“Finally get to see @EmilyMaynard tonight. I’m going to spend all night messing up her lipstick.”
The goal for Jef is a move to Charlotte in September — where Emily and her seven-year-old daughter, Ricki, live. First he and Emily will make a trip to Haiti on business for Jef’s business, “People Water.” It’s not confirmed whether Ricki is joining them or not. Emily and Jef traveled to Ghana without her.
In other developing news for “The Bachelorette” pair, Emily has already signed her fiance up to be the coach of Ricki’s soccer team, The Green Beans.
“Emily called me and told me I’m going to be the head coach of Ricki’s soccer team, The Green Beans!” Jef told the Huffington Post.
Jef also reminded everyone what bonds he and Emily together.
“The one thing we most have in common is…let’s see, definitely that we’re both grounded. In our personal lives, we see eye-to-eye on the way we want to treat everybody, how we want to be great parents. We want a grounded marriage. We see eye-to-eye on foundational things like that, and it’s really important.”
Some fans question their religious denominations and how it can play a potential role in causing conflict. The both of them have strong moral values and the basic understanding of treating others as they want to be treated. As Jef Holm pointed out, they see “eye-to-eye on foundational things.” If a couple has that then everything else can be worked around. Emily and Jef certainly have all the right elements to be another “Bachelorette” success for the reality TV show franchise.
