Who’s the Daddy? Former “Doctor Who” star David Tennant is. He and his fiancée, Georgia Moffett, became proud parents to a baby girl late last night. The baby is named Olivia and she has quite a strong Time Lord pedigree. Not only her father, but also her grandfather has played the iconic role in the past.
Georgia Moffett (26) gave birth to a healthy baby girl yesterday evening. Both mother and baby are said to be doing very well. Georgia is also a daughter of another former Dr. Who, Peter Davison and his former wife, American actress, Sandra Dickinson. That is not the only Dr. Who link between the two. In quite a twist, David and Georgia met on the Dr. Who set when Georgia played the Tenth Doctor’s (David Tennant) own child, Jenny.
Georgia and David Tennant (39) became engaged at Christmas 2010, but it was not until January of this year that the pregnancy was revealed to the public. Now the couple have celebrated the birth of their first child. Congratulations to them both, as much for carrying on the pregnancy in relative privacy as for the happy arrival of a healthy baby girl.
As you would expect, the parents “could not be happier. Olivia is beautiful and their families are over the moon”, a family friend told the “Sun” newspaper. She is the first child for David, but Georgia already has a son, called Ty. The identity of Ty’s father has never been revealed publicly.
With her family history, maybe one day little Olivia will be doing her own time traveling? Would you like to see a female in the role of Dr. Who?
