News that the 36-year-old was found dead in a New York City apartment with drugs and paraphernalia present was too much for some people to take.
While close friends (like Nicole Richie) have chosen to mourn their friend’s death in private, other celebrities have taken to Twitter to show their support for AM, his friends and his family members.

Mandy Moore also expressed her support for Goldstein and made it very clear that she was heartbroken over the news.
“I am absolutely heartbroken. For those of us lucky enough to have known him, Adam radiated a contagious exuberance for life and also personified the very definition of a true friend. To say that he will be missed beyond words is an understatement. My heart goes out to his loved ones.”
Mandy flew to DJ AMs side last year after he was severely burned following a plane crash that killed 4 people and left him and his friend Travis Barker in critical condition.
We’re sure many more celebrities will begin to speak out about Adam’s death in the coming days. Our thoughts and prayers are also with Adam’s family and friends.
