The Two and a Half Men star Kutcher was photographed arriving at her Benedict Canyon estate on Wednesday, but he had previously visited since she returned home from hospital. Apparently the former couple have been praying together and Ashton is trying to support her through a difficult period in her life.
To further explain Demi’s recent health issues, it has been reported that the 49-year-old actress has become increasingly despondent about the recent downturn in her career. She had turned to prescription medication to deal with her anxiety and depression.
As we previously reported, Demi has been struggling with anorexia and taking the prescription pills Adderall leading up to her seizure on January 23.
Ashton Kutcher was criticized for not seeing Demi Moore in the hospital, but instead partying heard, but when he returned to LA, it seems he sought counsel and guidance from spiritual advisers at the Kabbalah Center in Beverly Hillson how he could best help Demi.
The Striptease star is also said to be extremely unhappy that her acting career is at a hiatus. It has been a while since Demi won an award or was seen as the star of a movie. Friends say that is why she had been out partying with her daughter Rumer and her friends in the weeks leading up to her hospitalization.
Moore’s next movie LOL, starring Miley Cyrus and Ashley Greene, finished filming last year, but the movie doesn’t yet have a release date. Demi plays Miley’s mom in the movie about teenagers dealing with peer pressure and overbearing parents. There is apparently no other work lined up for Demi after she dropped out of the biopic on Linda Lovelace, in which she was set to play feminist icon Gloria Steinem. Sarah Jessica Parker has since replaced her in the role and is already shooting her scenes.
Kutcher is still said to love his estranged wife, and although there is no suggestion of a reconciliation, he wants to be there for her. He is one of the few people said to support her decision not to enter rehab, when many around Demi are pushing her to do that.
