Denise Richards Throws Baby Shower for Adopted Daughter

Denise Richards has thrown a baby shower for her newly adopted daughter. She adopted baby Eloise last month.

The former Bond Girl was once married to Charlie Sheen and had two daughters with the troubled actor. In June, she adopted a baby girl called Eloise Joni Richards as a single parent.

Denise Richards revealed on her Twitter account that the theme of baby shower that was held this past weekend was “three is a charm.” That, of course, pays tribute to her three daughters.

Denise later Tweeted her thanks to her family and “amazing friends” for coming together to celebrate her baby daughter. She said she felt very blessed to have their love and support in her life.

Tori Spelling, Lisa Rinna, Ali Landry, Nancy O’Dell and Ali Sweeney were all on the baby shower guest list for the celebration at the Montage Hotel in Los Angeles this past weekend.

Among the gifts that Richards received for baby was a three-tier white and pink cake featuring small figurines of the star’s daughters Sam, Lola and Eloise on the top and the message ‘We love Eloise’ written on icing on the side.

Richards had previously stated that Eloise had “brought so much joy” to her family, saying, “She loves being hugged and held. She’s such a beautiful little baby and little soul.”

The new arrival was named after Richards’s own mother Joni, who died as a result of cancer in 2007. Her sisters are said to be very happy with the arrival of their sister.
