Demi Moore has attracted more controversy with her heavily photoshopped images for her upcoming Helena Rubinstein ad. The photos have gone further than giving Demi a youthful, blemish free appearance.
In these shots, the actress has been edited beyond all recognition.
Take a look at the gallery below and you will see what we mean.
The actress’s face and neck are devoid of all lines and wrinkles. Furthermore, her chin and nose appear to have changed shape. Her skin is also much paler than it is naturally.
E!’s Bruna Nessif was shocked by the transformation, saying,
“We understand that all ads and widely distributed photos get some retouching done, it’s part of the biz, but it’s freakin’ Demi Moore. How much do you really have to fix?”
Well, quite! Demi Moore is beautiful, right?
This is the first ad campaignMoorehas worked on since her acrimonious split from actor Ashton Kutcher, following speculation of his alleged infidelity.
After an incident at a house party, Demi was hospitalized and subsequently checked into rehabilitation. She returned toLos Angelesa couple of weeks ago, but has not been spotted in public since.
Reacting to the Helena Rubinstein images, Life and Style Picture Editor Craig Gunn told the UK’s Daily Mail about the Photoshopping,
“This would have had been done by someone very expert and would have been at least a day’s work. Without seeing the original photographs I can only speculate. But it looks as though the skin tone has been heavily airbrushed, with quite a thick application of the brush. Doing this gets rid of all pit marks, pores, moles, blemishes and fine hairs on the face to create a smoother look.”
Demi’s continuing personal troubles have been well-documented following her dropping out of biopic about Linda Lovelace, which was meant to be her comeback role. But does she really have to be so worried about her career she goes to these lengths?
