Disney Channel’s ‘Sonny With A Chance’ star has spoken to the media for the first time since her stint in rehab and insists that she will remain in the hit TV show and that she is eager to get back to work.
Lovato admitted she had been “very difficult” and the “darkest time” of her life. The 18 year old TV star entered rehab for reportedly “emotional and physical issues” Links to drugs or alcohol were strongly denied. Lovato has reached out to her young fans and said that she was dealing with issues that they all face, and hoped that one day she would raise awareness of those issues.
Well, telling us why you were in rehab would be a good start if you really want to help others going through the same thing!
Lovato chose her first post-rehab interview to rebut claims that’s she has been fired from the “Sonny with a Chance” TV show. Lovato plays current title character, Sonny, but it has been reported that the next season of the show has been renamed as “So Random”.
That move sparked rumors that Lovato had been fired, especially when she failed to return to her acting role in January as planned.
However, both Lovato and the show’s bosses are insisting that the name change only signals a change in emphasis, which they planned anyway, to focus more of previously minor characters, in the way that “Seinfeld” and other TV programs have shifted focus.
Well, it would be nice to think that Demi is over her problems and able to return to work, but “Seinfeld” is still “Seinfeld” and the name change here appears “So Random”, so what do you think to Demi Lovato’s chances of making a comeback?
