David Foster was a topic of conversation on the “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” season 4 reunion Monday night. Andy Cohen asked Yolanda Foster about a put down her husband made in the Canadian press back in December about the show consisting of women who are a “bunch of clowns.”
Yolanda defended David.
“That’s my joke,” Yolanda.
Some of the other women didn’t find it amusing, but Brandi Glanville noted that they all need to “own” their clownish behavior because that’s what they signed up for. The others felt David Foster’s comment diminished or trashed the show his wife is on…..however, she was right that it started with her.
Here’s a snippet of what he said during the interview:
“The Beverly Hills show, like she says, is just a bunch of clowns trying to make a living. It’s a show about nothing basically but people seem to like it. Yolanda seems to enjoy it and I think she comes across very classy on the show and doesn’t really engage much in all the banter that goes on.”
So, he mentions that Yolanda came up with the term describing “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.” Yolanda said during the reunion that she thinks the clown term is “funny.”
“We might as well laugh about it and make fun about it,” Yolanda said.
Yolanda owns the silly misunderstanding.
“I’m the one that planted that bad seed and I take full responsibility. And I never disrespect any woman, but I don’t take it too serious because we can’t obviously.”
David Foster wasn’t seen on the reunion while all the husbands accompanied their wives. Yolanda said he was busy with work. It would have been interesting to see him on “Real Housewives” season 4 reunion. Maybe next year!
