It’s down to the wire…the winner will be announced tonight. How many performances will be between the beginning and the winner being announced? Probably a few…will this hour go by fast or not? Another dance tonight, and that’s it. The score will be combined with the scores from last night and the fan votes.
Make your predictions now…who is going to be the winner? Is it Ricki, who has been on the top most of the time? JR who has all kinds of emotion? Or Rob, the come from behind dancer who got a perfect score at the end?
We are starting out with Rob at 57, Ricki and JR tied at 54. It’s probably the tightest competition yet.
Ricki and Derek are up first and they have to pick their favorite dance to redo. They choose the tango and re-create their Halloween number. Len said he loved it more than the first time they did it. Bruno called it unforgettable while Carrie Ann said it was beyond perfection this time.
Rob and Cheryl do the tango, since that dance was for his dad and it was emotional. Was it good enough to put him on the top? Len said he has the best footwork of any guy he’s seen on the show! Wow. Has there ever been a tie at the end?
JR and Karina do a jive, but the right way this time with no lift. Will the judges be a bit happier over that fact, since they nailed them on it the first time? JR was happy with it, what do the judges say? Carrie Ann called him out for missing a bit of moves in the middle. Len says they did exactly what he asked them to do with it. Bruno says it was fun. Not the energy they had the last few dances…hmmmm.
They go to reverse order for the judges placement. Rob and Cheryl are in third with 26, JR and Karina are in second with a 28 and Ricki sits on top with 30 with the judges. Now, that puts Ricki at 84, Rob at 83 and JR at 82. How close is that?
So will we find out the winner soon or does this drag on for another hour?
One star is getting the axe now…3rd place goes to Ricki and Derek. Wow. With how much she was on top? I’m surprised a bit here. She was on top so much, but the underdog and the veteran might have pulled more votes.
2nd place…oh we have to wait! JR and Rob both have to find out their music and dance again! More scores before we can finally determine who wins this thing!
All of the past contestants get to dance again and it is entertaining….but loooong. We want the winner!
Meta World Peace looks a bit awkward on the dance floor again. Kristin Cavallari and Mark Ballas look to be having a great time. Chynna is getting up and redoing the dance where she froze up in. Can she do it better? Carson finally gets to dance with Val and it’s great, Chaz looks good and David looks nice dancing with the troupe. Nancy has fun on stage again and are we caught up to the cast offs? Almost.
More Lady Antebellum. Let’s get to the winner already! And the finalists dances.
Hope and Maks redo their best dance. But it seems Hope is already forgetting her steps! Oops…kicked a light. Not bad. They look like they had fun.
Dances? Nope. Not yet. Commercials.
But now they seem hurried and JR takes the floor. Not sure about Karina’s outfit…or the dance. Doesn’t seem like much enthusiasm in it. Then Rob gets the second half of the song and they look to have a bit more fun. Cheryl has a cool skirt on…will that make the difference? Between the two, I think Rob did better. But it will depend on who got the audience votes.
Len says the dance was well done by both, especially since they didn’t even know the music ahead of time. Bruno liked Rob’s bon bon use! Carrie Ann says both of them are winners. It was a great way to end the season. How will they determine who the winner is?
JR and Karina get all 10s and have 30, with 112 for four rounds of dancing.
Rob and Cheryl get all 10s and have 30, with 113 for their total. This is close.
The winner of the season 13 Silver Ball is…JR Martinez!
Enjoy it, because the next season doesn’t start until mid-March!!
