It’s going to get emotional this year…the stars have remember the most memorable year of their life. They picked a song that meant something special to that year or what happened in that year. Most of them will be sentimental.

Rob Kardashian picked 2003 because it was the year his dad passed away. He chose a Frank Sinatra song, because it was his dad’s favorites. Rob and Cheryl looked pretty good dancing too! The judges praised their performance and Carrie Ann said he was improving each week. Their scores? 24! Wow! They are improving.

Next up is Chynna Phillips and Tony. The judges said they needed to bring more…so in practice, Chynna put the pressure on herself. She choose the year 1990, because it was a turning point in her life. She didn’t recognize herself because she was lost in depression, drinking, etc. She quit drinking. They danced to the song she wrote called “Hold On”. The judges were wowed with the performance and it showed in the score. The first nines of the season were given out! Chynna and Tony ended up with 26 points.

Chaz Bono and Lacey are up next and Chaz picked this year. He said he was happier than he has ever been , since the sex change operation. He picked a song that his dad, Sonny Bono sang. Their costumes looked retro and they danced well. Will it be enough to lift Chaz from the bottom of the scoreboard, where he sat last week? Not really, with an 18. But it is their highest score so far in the competition.

Kristin Cavallari and Mark take their turn on the dance floor and shake their stuff. Kristin picked 2005 because it was the year she graduated and moved to LA. She had some decisions to make regarding her schooling or a career, and look where she is now! Can you dance as good as she looked last week? Most people would think they looked hot – do the judges? It seems that they do. Their score is also high with a 24, which is also higher than last week. Lots of improvements for dancers this week.

Carson Kressley picked the year 2003, since it was the year his show Queer Eye For the Straight Guy came out and was a huge hit. It launched him in to stardom. Can he earn the most improved for the week? Carson and Anna hit the stage with a lot of energy and even technique. The judges raved about their dance! How high will their scores go? They earned a 23, their highest score yet!

JR Martinez picked the year he was in Iraq and he was in a roadside bomb. He said he wished he hadn’t lived at certain points in his recovery. His dance is dedicated to all of the soldiers who didn’t make it back from the war. JR said he wanted people to think his dance was beautiful, in honor of those fallen soldiers. The audience loved it and it was emotional. What will the judges say? Carrie Ann was moved to tears and said it was extraordinary. They get a 26 and sit with Chynna on top of the leaderboard so far.

Next up – Nancy Grace and Tristan. Her year is the year her twins were born, prematurely. Lucy was near death and she didn’t think she would live or die. The song she is performing to is Moonriver, which she also walked down to aisle to. It also happens to be the first lullaby she sang to her children. Will her emotion show through in her dance? It did, but the technique was not there behind it so much. The score ended up being a 21.

Ricki Lake and Derek are up to defend their position on top of the leaderboard. Lots of great dancing tonight – can they do it? Ricki picked the year 2010. She had gone through a rough divorce and suffered through a house that burned down and realized what is important in life. Now she has true love in her life and is well on her way to being happy and soon to be married again. Will her love show through in her dance? Bruno said it was expressive and loved it like a poem. Ricki and Derek ended up with the high score of the night with 27!

Hope Solo and Maks were up to dance their memorable year, which was 2011. Hope went to the World Cup but the US team didn’t end up winning. Hope realized that it was about the journey and not the end result. How will she dance to their end result? Their dance was very sexy looking, but will it be enough to get a high score from the judges? Len said it was her best dance thus far! They also ended up with a 24…

David Arquette and Kym are last up and have a lot of pressure. Almost everyone beat their previous scores and are dancing their best yet. Only Chaz has a score below 20…what year will David pick as his most memorable? Last year, when his marriage fell apart. He had to take a hard look at himself and his behavior and had to change the way he acts for his daughter. Will his love for his daughter show through in his dance and keep him from the bottom two this week? I’m not sure, but his spandex pants were showing a bit much… Len liked it, which is a surprise because he doesn’t like much! Their score is 24!

That means Chaz is on the bottom with 18 and Nancy with 21. Who gets eliminated tomorrow?
