Cheryl told ‘People’ magazine that she would like a chance to boost her love life by appearing on the ABC series.
“My dating record hasn’t been great the past couple of years, so if I have a chance to go on ['The Bachelorette'] I will,” she said. “I’m getting old, you know, so it’s something of interest to me.”
Burke admits that she becomes something of a shy wallflower at events, so rather than awkward social introductions she thought it might be easier to meet guys if she was on ‘The Bachelorette.’
“It would be fun to have a pool of guys around you and getting to know someone,” she said. “I think if I had people setting me up with different guys I think it would be easier for me to meet someone to date.”
Burke and her celebrity partner William Levy placed third in the recent season of ‘Dancing with the Stars.’
The current run of ‘The Bachelorette,’ starring Emily Maynard, is airing on Mondays on ABC.
