First of all, contestants for the upcoming season will be announced on “Good Morning America” Tuesday, Mar. 4. Who will appear in season 18 of “Dancing with the Stars”? After all the craziness going on with the show, it’ll be interesting to see who will dance this spring.
Among some of the massive changes with “DWTS,” Brooke Burke-Charvet was inexplicably fired from the hit show and replaced by FOX sports newscaster, Erin Andrews. She was once a contestant on the show when she danced with Maksim Chmerkovskiy. She will take on a completely different role on the network hosting “Dancing with the Stars” with Tom Bergeron. So far she hasn’t gotten rave reviews on being selected to fill Brooke’s shoes. Tim will tell how well ABC management’s decision played out.
In other changes previously reported, Ray Chew will replace Harold Wheeler as the music director.
Among some of the rumored contestants to appear on season 18 of “DWTS” are Cody Simpson, Bruce Jenner, and Kelly Brook. Jenner has expressed an interest in competing on the show and Simpson was rumored to be in talks with ABC to compete in season 18. Brook is a British model and actress who has already been on England’s version of “Dancing with the Stars,” but she would love to do America’s version. “The Chew” co-host, Carla Hall and Sharon Osbourne are also interested in being part of the “DWTS” cast.
There were rumors that Juan Pablo Galavis from “The Bachelor” was going to be on the show, but PureDTWS confirmed that he was not asked.
Are you excited to learn who the official “Dancing with the Stars” 2014 cast will be?
Season 18 of “DWTS” premieres Monday, March 17 at 8 p.m., ET/PT on ABC.
