Dancing With the Stars 2011 Round 5 Results: Carson Kressley is Eliminated!

It’s already week five on Dancing With the Stars. Time to send a contestant home for the night. Who is your guess this week? Will it be a third surprise? Nancy Grace had a weak score, but she still has a drove of fans voting for her. Ricki and Derek faltered a little, will she be the surprise? Carson and Anna dipped below 20, so is it his turn or will his legion of fans save the day?

Of course we have to revisit the 80s, since that is this week’s theme. The troupe performs some great “oldies” but let’s get to the results!

The first group up for elimination is Hope and Maks and Ricki and Derek. Ricki is safe, so that’s no surprise. Hope is in jeopardy, which is NOT a surprise. And considering Hope said she didn’t know if she could do it any longer, she might just be going home.

Kelly Clarkson performs a song that is not related to the 80s. Whew! And she is looking hot now. What has Kelly been up to? Whatever it is, she looks good and her voice sounds amazing still. Then there is Kym who dances to Kelly’s new release who always looks awesome.

A local dancer gets to perform on stage, under the big lights. She teaches kids who are underprivileged so they can have access to the arts and learn to appreciate dance. Dance is what saved her, she believes and is how she expresses herself. And she did a great job with Mark and Derek helping her out.

Another performance and Karina comes out to accompany this one. The Band Perry sings If I Die Young and do a great job live. What’s with all the performances this week? We want results!

The next group of three up is David and Kym, Rob and Cheryl and JR and Karina. All three guys are funny when asked about their dances and sexiness, but David is definitely the ham when he says he is just excited because Len has finally accepted him. Who is safe? Rob and Cheryl, JR and Karina. In Jeopardy – David and Kym.

Kelly Clarkson performs again and then we finally get to the last group of stars. There is Nancy and Tristan, Chaz and Lacey and Carson and Anna. All three have had low scores, so will they all be in jeopardy? Chaz ends up being safe and so does Nancy. Wow. Carson remains the only one in jeopardy.

Carson, Hope and David are the three stars who might be saying goodbye. Guesses?

All of the stars look nervous, but, ultimately, one goes home. That person is?

Carson Kressley.
