Courtney Robertson on Arie Luyendyk Jr: Were They Ever Really Dating?

Were “Bachelor” winner Courtney Robertson and  Arie Luyendyk Jr (rejected by Emily Maynard on “The Bachelorette”) ever really dating each other?

The relationship between “Bachelor” and “Bachelorette” alumni Courtney Robertson and Arie Luydendyck Jr. didn’t last very long. Did we expect it to? Now Courtney Robertson has opened up about their relationship and why they split.Well “open up” may be more of an exaggeration. In fact, her recent comments have left many of us wondering where Courtney and Arie were ever actually a couple at all, or whether their supposed relationship was just a couple of dates or even merely a publicity stunt.Courtney had this to say:“Arie is a good friend of mine and yeah, we’re both from Arizona, and we had a really nice time together but he’s a good friend. We got along great but we’re not dating.”

But were they dating at one time?

“I think he said we’re no longer seeing each other or something,” Courtney said about the Sulia post we reported to you.

That isn’t making it obvious whether or not they’ve ever been an item, is it? And to add to the confusion, Courtney says she hasn’t seen Arie in a few weeks, although he did tell her what he was going to post on Sulia.

“He texted me right before [he did that online] and I was like, ‘That’s fine, whatever,’” Courtney said, who seems tired of the constant questions about who she might be dating.

“I get asked every day, ‘How are you and Ben?’ I’ll probably be 90 in the checkout line and someone will come up be like, ‘Hey, how is Ben doing?’ It’s just the sort of thing, it’s good to clear the air and not leave people guessing.”

Well, she hasn’t cleared much up. Except she says she feels it is too soon for her to be dating again and she just wants to enjoy being single for a while and concentrate on other areas of her life.

I’m sure when she’s ready to get back on the dating scene Courtney Robertson will have no shortage of suitors. As to what happened with Arie – who knows!
