Conrad Murray Trial: Michael Jackson’s Fingerprints Not on Propofol Bottles

Dr. Conrad Murray’s involuntary manslaughter trial is entering its second week, and he must be hoping it will go better than last week. But Radar Online is now reporting another body blow for Murray’s defense: Michael Jackson’s fingerprints were not found on any of the Propofol bottles.

The central argument of Dr. Murray’s defense case rests on his assertion that Michael Jackson woke while the doctor was out of the room and administered another dose of Propofol to himself. As the defence team of the Houston-based cardiologist have it, he briefly left Michael Jackson alone on the morning of June 25, 2009, and that was when the Thriller star grabbed a bottle of the drug, ingested it, and that is what caused his death as “a perfect storm” was created in his body “that killed him instantly…there was no CPR, nor doctor, no paramedic, no machine that was going to revive  Michael Jackson. He died so rapidly, so instantly, he didn’t even have time to close his eyes,” Dr. Murray’s lawyers contend.

Their bid to convince the jury of this set of circumstances is bound to be complicated by the fact that none of Michel Jackson’s fingerprints were found on any of the Propofol or Lorazepam bottles by the Los Angeles Police Department. Also, there were no partial prints or unidentified prints. The only prints fund on the medication bottles matched Conrad Murray’s.

This will be another blow to Dr. Conrad Murray’s defense after a week which saw two paramedics, and the attending emergency room doctor all testify that at no point did Dr. Murray ever reveal that he had given Jackson Propofol. The first paramedic even told the jury he saw Murray putting lidocaine vials into a bag.

Dr. Richelle Cooper, the emergency room doctor at the Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center, who treated Jackson, told jurors on Friday that he was “clinically dead” on arrival. She will resume her testimony this morning.
