Chris Brown F.A.M.E Tour Ends Early in Australia, Birthday Bash Still On

R&B star Chris Brown is planning to celebrate his 22nd birthday this weekend at PURE Nightclub in Las Vegas. However, a virus has caused him to cancel his latest shows so his birthday plans may be in jeopardy.

Brown has just finished the latest leg of his “F.A.M.E” tour in Australia. It finished early as he cancelled tonight’s show in Perth due to illness. He is now apparently bed-ridden with a nasty virus so let’s hope he recovers for his party.

He was scheduled to perform at Perth’s Burswood Dome tonight but has cancelled the show after becoming ill on Friday.

His doctor reported, “Chris has a severe viral illness. The virus has developed into a nasty chest infection and he needs rest. He is not fit to perform on stage nor is he fit to travel.”

Brown had told fans at his show in Brisbane on Friday (April 29) that he was not feeling well, but completed his performance. Under doctor’s advice, he decided to cancel the show tonight.

Before illness forced the show cancellations, the “Kiss Kiss” singer had planned to rush back to the USA to make it to Vegas in time for his birthday celebrations this coming weekend.

It is mainly close family and friends who have been invited to Chris Brown’s birthday party. So even if the birthday bash goes ahead the Grammy award winning artist will be having quite a tame time compared to his recent exploits.

A couple months ago, Brown smashed a window at a TV studio, following an interview on “Good Morning America” when he became angry about Robyn Roberts questioning him over his 2009 assault on ex-girlfriend Rihanna.
