Charlie Sheen Pelted at Gathering of the Juggalos, WATCH

“I should have worn goggles” said former “Two and a Half Men” star Charlie Sheen has he got pelted with objects on stage performing at the Gathering of the Juggalos this weekend.

Charlie Sheen received a mixed reaction when he performed at the Gathering of the Juggalos, a music festival in Cave-In-Rock, Illinois last Saturday night.

Several fans cheered him, as you can see in the video below. But Sheen was also met with jeering and booing. Objects were even thrown on to the stage, directed at the actor himself. And they weren’t congratulatory flowers!

The video shows a number of Charlie Sheen fans cheering for the star during his on-stage comedy routine. But he clearly has to avoid an object thrown at the stage. At the end of the video, Sheen catches another missile lobbed at him and jokes he is going to leave the stage and let the next act take his place, “before he gets impaled.”

If you think the Gathering of the Juggalos is an unusual thing for Charlie Sheen to do (and he probably won’t do it again, given the crowd’s reaction), Insane Clown Posse said that Sheen agreed to host the Saturday night event because he “wanted to do something different.”

There’s nothing quite like the Gathering, insiders say.

“I think Juggalos won’t be respected until 20 years after they’re done,” admitted Violent J of the Posse.

He says it’s history in the making, something special and unique, but few people appreciate it yet. But he said he is pleased Charlie Sheen and his management team recognized it.

Sheen isn’t likely to forget being pelted with missiles live on stage at Gathering of the Juggalos. But he seemed none the worse for his experience as he Tweeted,

“Gathering of The Juggalos. When I say Tech you say 9..! These guys blew my mind Do not walk… Run to get their new album! #tech9 (sic).”

He also gave a “big shout out” to Psychopathic Records, Billy Bill and Kodi Sparkman.

Sheen will be the subject of a Comedy Central roast next month to be hosted by “Family Guy” creator Seth MacFarlane. He has also revealed plans to return to television in a small screen adaptation of the comedy movie “Anger Management.” Sheen should know all about that by now but perhaps the people pelting him from the “Gathering of the Juggalos” crowd could learn a thing or two.

But it is unusual for Charlie Sheen to be so clearly not winning or saying that he is these days. So watch the video of Sheen performing and getting pelted at the Gathering of the Juggalos below:
