Charlie Sheen considers the rehab he went through as the best way. That is why he persuaded his ex-wife Brooke Mueller to give up on the Mexico idea and go through the same treatments he recently did. To help her, Charlie Sheen will be paying for it all. But if the rumors are true, he won’t be in the country to see if Brooke is winning in her rehab. He will be in the UK, appearing in the first season of “Celebrity Big Brother” after it moves to Channel 5.
Charlie Sheen didn’t like the idea of Brooke going down to Mexico for rehab. He felt the treatment there was dangerous and that she might die. As we reported, the Mexico rehab treatment involves prescribing a drug called Ibogaine that is illegal in the United States.
Charlie apparently went as far as to Mexico in a private jet, pick up Brooke and bring her back to the States. Brooke was only south of the border for 12 hours before Charlie came to the rescue – or to interfere, whichever way you choose to look at it.
Sheen then brought in his own team of doctors that he used a few months back when the “Two and a Half Men” people wanted him to get treatment. Brooke is now set up with them at an undisclosed location and Charlie Sheen is paying for the whole thing.
Let’s hope Brooke will soon be winning at rehab herself. Charlie Sheen’s career has allegedly taken a bit of a boost as it is reported that he has been signed up for the first series of “Celebrity Big Brother UK” when the show moves to Channel 5 later this month. If the rumors are true, Sheen could earn up to £6 million (almost $10 million) for a two-week appearance on the show scheduled for later this month.
