Things are as Brooke Mueller’s friends feared when she stopped returning their calls last week. She is back on drugs. She sought help and entered rehab this past weekend – now Charlie Sheen is seeking temporary custody of their two-year-old twins.
Mark Gross, Sheen’s attorney, will reportedly tell Mueller’s lawyer today that Sheen is requesting that a judge gives him custody of the boys while Sheen’s soon-to-be-e-ex-wife, Brooke Mueller, is in rehab. Under the terms of the custody arrangement so recently worked out, both Charlie and Brooke had to submit to drug tests. Enduring a cocaine bender last week, Brooke has broken the terms of that custody arrangement.
Mueller (33) is said to have entered rehab this last weekend. We brought you the story of her crack cocaine bender last week. That led to her begging friends for drug-free urine so she could pass her required test. Then she pawned one of Charlie’s valuable watches and on Friday refused to take her mandatory drug test.
The writing was on the wall and Brooke’s back was right up against it. She had no option but to enter rehab. That is why, Charlie Sheen will argue, sons Bob and Max are better off living with him.
Brooke’s attorney is expected to argue that the boys are well cared for by Brooke’s mom, Palm Beach, Florida socialite Moira Fiore. The boys have hardly seen their father over the last few months and Charlie is touring his Torpedo of Truth show until May 3rd. That would mean the boys living in various hotel rooms as Charlie traveled. Brooke’s lawyers will argue that their grandmother can give them stability, which it appears, is beyond either of their parents.
