“Breaking Amish” season 2 “Brave New World” will return with cast members Abe and Rebecca Schmucker, Kate Stoltzfus, Jeremiah Raber, and Sabrina High. The young men and women will continue navigating their way into the real world after being solely part of the Amish and Mennonite community their entire lives.

According to the TLC preview for season 2, this is what viewers will see in the “Brave New World”:

“…we’ll pick up with the group in Florida. They’re trying to make a fresh start, but some of the challenges they faced last season will resurface again as they experience culture shock, make some unexpected enemies, and struggle with finances, romance and career choices.”

Abe and Rebecca are going through the first stages of testing their marriage out. The two will explore the dynamics as husband and wife. Jeremiah and Sabrina are learning how to be just friends. Will they rekindle their romance? It’s unknown what happened to Kate’s modeling career, but more of that will be explored as she comes back to “Breaking Amish.”

“Breaking Amish” brought in the highest numbers for TLC as a freshmen series at 3.2 million viewers. Season 2 entitled “Brave New World” is a spinoff. Another season of “Breaking Amish” will begin shooting this spring and premiere late summer. The reality series is one of the more successful programs on cable networks.

“Breaking Amish” season 2 premieres on TLC at 8 p.m., ET Sunday, May 12.
