Lindsay Lohan apparently refused to film the big reveal of the makeover and that had Bravo and interior designers furious with her.
When Lindsay Lohan bailed before the big reveal of her Beverly Hills rental house makeover, they attempted to repossess the furniture and flooring that was gifted to her.
Interior decorator to the stars, Kathyrn Ireland was furious with Lindsay Lohan for backing out as she has put a lot of time and energy into the decorating project.
A source on the show says that Lindsay didn’t appreciate anything that was done for her or the $250,000 worth of furniture that was given her. They said that Bravo attempted to recover the furniture but Lindsay had already had everything from the house sent to an unknown storage location.
“Lindsay was quite pleased with herself and bragged to friends that she can get whatever she wants because she is a celebrity,” the source added.
It was Lindsay’s own idea to appear on “Million Dollar Decorator”. She apparently approached one of the hit show’s decorators at a New Year’s Eve party in 2011 and asked if she could appear in an episode of the hit Bravo show.
The finale of Lohan’s 2-part episode aired Tuesday night.
Lohan requested that her bedroom be “very princessy,” and show bosses established a decorating budget of $250,000. However, after the goods were delivered and decorating completed, Lindsay apparently could not be contacted to shoot the reveal.
Bravo confirmed that Lindsay Lohan “was not available for the reveal shoot, but we were still able to capture the outcome, just like we do for many of the reveal episodes.” So, they seem happy with the outcome.
But Kathryn Ireland isn’t. She allegedly wants all the furniture returned, even though she holds out little hope of this ever happening.
“It wouldn’t shock anyone if Lilo tried to sell the goods,” the insider said.
Lindsay has indeed run up a huge debt, including $233,000 owed to the IRS for unpaid taxes between 2009 and 2010.
“Million Dollar Decorator” airs Tuesdays at 10/9c on Bravo.
