Any book which promises to kiss and tell about The Bodyguard star in the wake of the untimely death this month of 48-year-old star is likely to rake in big bucks and it’s the dollar signs Bobby is seeing, according to people who know him.
But will this book ever happen? Bobby Brown promised to release a tell all back in 2008, but his expose on life with his ex-wife was never published.
However, back in 2008, there was little interest in a book about Whitney Houston. Her hits had stopped coming and she had not yet received all that much attention for her drinking and drug-taking.
But as one publisher put it, “now, following her tragic death, the market has changed. Now is the time for a book that details an honest look into the life of Whitney.”
There is a catch, though. When Bobby divorced from Whitney he signed a confidentiality agreement. He is said to be trying to get out of that now, knowing how much money he stands to make from telling all about his life with his ex-wife.
“This is a man who left his ex-wife’s funeral because he didn’t like his seats and went to a paying gig that night,” a friend of Whitney’s said.
While the reasons for Bobby Brown leaving Whitney Houston’s homegoing service may not have been that simple, the paying gig part was correct. He went on stage to be paid, while Bobbi Kristina, the daughter he had with Whitney Houston, was allegedly so distraught after the service that she went out and got wasted on drugs and who knows what else.
Whitney Houston’s tragic death on February 11 appears to be a lethal concoction of Valium, Xanax and alcohol.
The coroner is waiting on final toxicology results to determine which one of the three was the major contributing factor of her demise,” a source close to the situation said, and Whitney’s blood alcohol content at the time she died will be closely examined as well.
“The sedatives and alcohol will almost certainly be the cause of death, and not drowning. Her heart stopped beating because her respiratory system was suppressed because of the anti-anxiety meds, and combined with the booze it probably happened very quickly before she was found partially submerged in the bathtub,” said the source.
