“Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” star Russell Armstrong had secrets he did not want to be exposed about about his sexual preference. Don’t worry, though. Estranged wife Taylor Armstrong knew all about her husband’s gay secrets and that is at least part of why she was divorcing him.
47-year-old Russell Armstrong, who hanged himself yesterday at a house in Mulholland Drive, was bisexual. He was worried about being outed in the revealing book, which had even more details to reveal about his kinky sexual behavior.
“About six months ago Taylor confided in a close friend that she’d found history for a gay website called Adam4Adam.com on Russell’s laptop,” the insider said.
Taylor was also concerned that Russel was spending a huge amount of time at the gym, but he wasn’t appearing to be any more toned. So she got to wondering what he was doing at the gym and whether he was meeting with men he’d met off the website, rather than working out as he claimed.
Russell became concerned when he was approached for comment about the impending tell-all book. The book, not yet released, contains great detail about Armstrong’s sexual preferences and bedroom practices. Apparently, several men were willing to be named and go on record as having had sex with Russell Armstrong.
“He was into S&M type stuff; choking, rough-housing and slapping,” a source said.
Businessman Russell certainly had a history of violence in his past. Taylor alleged abuse against him and restraining orders were filed against him by his ex-wife and an ex-girlfriend.
So, perhaps there is more to Russell Armstrong’s suicide by hanging than an ex-wife stated. She blamed reality TV ruined his life and drove him to suicide.
Certainly, such a public profile would not have made it easy to be outed as a bisexual married man with kinky S&M tendencies.
Russell was found hanged in the bedroom of a friend’s home (not his own home as previously reported) on Monday night and pronounced dead at 8:16 p.m. by the Los Angeles City Fire Department.
