“Big Brother” is facing a huge racism scandal…thanks to the derogatory comments made by Aaryn Gries, GinaMarie Zimmerman, and Spencer Clawson. All three have made offensive remarks against blacks and insulted homosexuals. On “Big Brother 15″ Thursday night, Aaryn was seen by viewers mocking Candice Stewart — an African-American houseguest on the show.
Aaryn pulled a mean-spirited prank on Candice by flipping her mattress over. Although that doesn’t seem so “mean-spirited,” how she handled her reaction was most certainly inappropriate.
“Whatchu gon do gurrl … class girl? Where’s yo class?” Aaryn mocked Candice.
When Candice stood up for herself, GinaMarie took part in the racist stereotyping.
“You want the black to come out?” she said to Candice.
Eventually Howard Overby entered the scene, taking an upset Candice out of the room and urging her to find strength to deal with these bullies.
So, what did Aaryn Gries have to say about her terrible comments made on “Big Brother”? Julie Chen asked Aaryn if she or the other houseguests forget cameras are rolling 24/7 during the live feeds.
”I don’t forget … I am a very open person,” Aaryn told Julie. “Everyone who’s here knows a lot about me and America does now.”
Aaryn likens the racism scandal to references other houseguests use when they mock her by calling her Barbie. “Big Brother” houseguest, Amanda, warned Aaryn to be “mindful” of what she says during recorded sessions.
“That’s the most obnoxious, annoying thing I’ve ever heard,” Aaryn said. “It’s the biggest joke. They call me Barbie and all sorts of sh** about me being blonde all the time, so what’s the difference?”
Aaryn added, ”I wish I cared more about this, but I don’t.”
This “Big Brother” racism scandal looks to be what season 15 is all about. Who would have thought these houseguests would be so archaic in their thinking?
