Beyonce Knowles was booed by photographers when she made her red carpet entrance the Met Gala in New York on Monday night. The singer/actor could hardly walk in the tight fishtail dress and struggled to pose for press photographs.
The “Crazy In Love” singer made quite an entrance at the annual Costume Institute Gala Benefit. She wore an ultra-tight and figure-hugging fishtail gown designed by Emilio Pucci. In fact, it was so tight that she could hardly walk up the steps of the Metropolitan Museum of Art in it for the Gala party.
Other celebrities proudly showed off their taste and glamor while they walked up the stairs and happily posed for the press photographers. In contrast, a rather inelegant Beyonce had to be assisted to get up the steps by her husband Jay Z and another helper. Even having to pose for photographs proved difficult in the dress that was so tight that she could barely move her legs.
Photographers lining the red carpet soon grew angry with Beyonce as she stumbled her way along past them. They felt she did not wait long enough for them to get the photographs of her that they wanted. They soon set up a chorus of boos which lasted until Beyonce was right inside the building.
No-one is reporting if she could sit down in the dress or if she had to be held up all night!
What do you think of the dress? Has Beyonce Knowles exhibited a rather “fishy” fashion sense?
