Beyonce Finally Refutes Fake Pregnancy Rumors (VIDEO)

Beyonce has rejected rumors that her pregnancy was fake as “just crazy.”

Rumors abounded on the Internet that the “Run the World” singer secretly used a surrogate to carry her first daughter with husband Jay-Z: baby Blue Ivy.

“That was crazy. It wasn’t hurtful, it was just crazy,” said the superstar, named People’s 2012 Most Beautiful Woman.

She wondered where the rumors came from. Well, one of the places was a story that we carried: that Beyonce’s baby bump appeared to fold as she bent over on an Australian TV appearance. And of course there was the fact that the singer looked stunning throughout her pregnancy and appeared to quickly lose her baby weight.

Beyonce’s mother dismissed the folding baby bump claims as “stupid.”

“It was a fabric that folded — does fabric not fold?” Beyonce’s mom, Tina Knowles, told People magazine. “Oh my gosh, so stupid.”

Beyonce shook off the speculation, but Tina was hurt and disturbed by the buzz surrounding her daughter’s first pregnancy.

“I thought it was very unfair and very cruel that someone would think that someone would be that diabolical to keep up a charade like that for nine months,” she said. “As a mother it was painful for me to hear the crazy rumors. And I even had people ask me, which was so ridiculous.”
