New parents Beyoncé and Jay-Z have apparently returned home from hospital with their baby daughter, Blue Ivy Carter. Fellow rapper 50 Cent, who has butted heads with Jay-Z in the past, has caused further controversy by posting photo mock-ups of the baby on his Twitter account.
Musical superstar parents Beyoncé and Jay-Z are reported to have taken Blue Ivy home from NYC’s Lenox Hill Hospital at approximately 1.30am on Tuesday morning. Newspaper reports suggest that the family trio left the facility through a side entrance in a van with blacked-out windows. They were also joined by a convoy of two SUVs.
An eyewitness called their exit very precise, very military-like.
Earlier this week, the new parents released a statement regarding the birth of Blue, refuting claims that she was delivered by C-section, saying,
“She was delivered naturally at a healthy 7 lbs and it was the best experience of both of our lives.”
The hospital denied suggestions that the couple received preferential treatment and hired out the entire fourth floor maternity ward for Blue’s arrival at a cost of $1.3million. The hospital say this was “simply not true.|”
Meanwhile rapper 50 Cent reignited his feud with Jay-Z by posting a series of mocked up baby pictures of Blue Ivy on Twitter.
Less than two days after Beyoncé gave birth, he Tweeted posted photos of a baby with Jay-Z’s face superimposed on to it, accompanied with the message: “Blue Ivy Carter is GORGEOUS” and later, “You bull******** — they will pay a million dollars for a picture of that baby lol trust me.”
The pair have history, after 50 Cent vowed to steal Beyoncé from Jay-Z to have kids with her and has also stated the rapper is “only famous for marrying Beyoncé,” adding: “Outside the States and hip-hop circles no one really knew who he was until that.”
Fans criticized 50 Cent for posting the fake baby pictures on Twitter, as mocking another rapper’s child is seen as a big no-no in the hip-hop world.
Jay-Z also hit the headlines this week for releasing a song, entitled Glory, to celebrate the birth of his daughter, where the 42-year old revealed that Beyoncé had suffered a miscarriage before conceiving Blue Ivy.
