Beyonce’s Baby Causes Havoc For Event Planning Company

It has only been a couple of days since Beyonce’s baby daughter was born, but already she has made her mark on the world. She has sparked a flood of calls for an event planning company with the same name.

Blue Ivy (not Ivy Blue as mistakenly reported earlier) was born on Saturday in a New York hospital.

Before the birth, a Boston-area event planning company of the same name came up first when Blue Ivy was Googled. You can guess that Beyonce and Jay-Z’s baby has overtaken that now.

You might imagine the company owners would be upset about being knocked off the top spot in Google. But far from it. Since the baby was born and her name was announced, Veronica Alexandra, owner of Blue Ivy, says her company has been inundated with phone calls, texts and Facebook posts.

Veronica, as an event planner, of course, could not resist the opportunity to say she would love to plan all of Blue Ivy’s milestone celebrations. She even made a suggestion that Beyonce’s baby should be the company poster girl.

Perhaps her mommy and daddy might have something to say about that. But what about you? What do you say about the choice of name for Jay-Z and Beyonce’s baby?
