Bethenny Frankel isn’t messing. She has filed for divorce and wants Jason Hoppy to pay child support and a lot more.

Bethenny Frankel filed for divorce last week against Jason Hoppy.  Now I has emerged that Bethenny, who is reportedly worth between $25 million and $55 million, has filed legal docs requesting a whole heap of money from her soon to be ex-husband Jason Hoppy.

The 42-year-old TV personality, chef, author and entrepreneur filed her petition at a New York courthouse earlier this week, after the couple separated late last year.

Her demands include:

Child support – retroactive from the date she filed for divorce
Medical, dental, optical, therapeutic, and orthodontic expenses for HER as well as her child
Life insurance that makes both her and her child beneficiaries

Jason does get a pretty good income from real estate, so she wants him out of their marital residence for good.  Bethenny is asking for exclusive occupancy.

Bethenny wants primary physical custody of 2-year-old Bryn and has also requested a judge to enforce their prenuptial agreement dated March 23, 2010, which was signed 5 days before they got married.

This might all sound like Bethenny Frankel is playing hardball, but of a friend of her says that she wants to work the divorce settlement out privately and amicably.

“All Bethenny cares about is that it works out the best way possible for Bryn,” the source said.

Is that what it sounds like to you?

Bethenny Frankel says she understands why some fans are judging her for her decision to file for divorce from Jason Hoppy.

She tweeted on Saturday: ‘To those of you who are being supportive: thank you. To those of you who are judging: I totally get it.’

‘This was an extremely difficult decision that as a woman and a mother, I have to accept as the best choice for our family.’Her statement continued: ‘We have love and respect for one another and will continue to amicably co-parent our daughter who is and will always remain our first priority. This is an immensely painful and heartbreaking time for us.’Frankel and Hoppy were married in 2010 and have a daughter, Bryn, who was born that same year.
The couple’s courtship and marriage were documented in two reality series, “Bethenny Getting Married?” and “Bethenny Ever After…”
