58427392The 2009 Emmy Awards aired last night and, as always, the real highlight of the night was the red carpet. Some of the hottest women in TV showed up to honor the best of the best in primetime television but the real winners are the ladies on the list below.
We’ve narrowed down our picks for the top 5 leading ladies of the red carpet last night – let us know if you agree or disagree.
Jennifer Love Hewitt definitely deserves a spot on our best-dressed list this year, looking absolutely stunning in a floor-length yellow gown. Not far behind Jennifer is Samantha Who? actress Christina Applegate who donned a royal blue floor-length stunner with midriff detailing.
Coming in at numbers three and two on our list are Gossip Girl stars Leighton Meester and Blake Lively. Blake modeled a fiery red floor-length gown with a plunging neckline while Leighton looked angelic in a snow white floor-length number with soft curls and dramatic makeup.
Finally, securing the top spot and stealing the award for best-dressed at the 2009 Emmys is Olivia Wilde. There’s no denying this sexy starlet is drop dead gorgeous but this stunning dress takes her look to a whole new level. We admire her daring style – and that’s why Olivia is taking home gold for best dressed at the 2009 Emmys!
Congratulations to all of the women who made our list!
