Michelle Money was Ashley’s fellow “Bachelor” contestant last season and also a good friend of Bentley’s ex-wife, Suzette Davis, so she knows a thing or two about Bentley and doesn’t want to see Ashley hurt. It was Michelle who texted Ashley to warn her that Bentley was going on the show for the wrong reasons.
Bentley is a Mormon, so if Ashley is really an atheist, the religious differences might be a big problem for them. Then again, he’s also a nasty piece of work so that’s probably an even bigger issue and is one that Ashley needs to think carefully about.
But Ashley Hebert is not being all sweetness and light towards her supposed friend. Mark Adams, Bentley’s friend, also claims Michelle said Ashley has a problem with flatulence! That sounds pretty unnecessary and unkind, doesn’t it?
But Emily Maynard, who Bentley has repeatedly expressed interest in, has offered her support to Ashley.
“Emily sent a text to Ashley asking to talk,” a show insider said. “They spoke on the phone for almost 45 minutes. Emily told her how much she admired her poise, and urged her to maintain her sense of humor and not take it all too seriously. She was adamant about saying what a jerk Bentley was and how much better off she was to find out now.”
That’s sweet, but the sweet southern belle act doesn’t work when your friend is getting humiliated by a guy on national television, does it? Is Ashley going to wise up to Bentley anytime soon? And will she realize Michelle Money isn’t such a great friend after all?
