Last night on “Bachelor Pad 3” we had to get our thinking caps on. Well, no we didn’t, really, but to see this gang of ex-Bachelor and Bachelorettes struggling with the spelling bee you’d have thought they were having to come up with President Obama’s campaign strategy. Anyway, I picked a good night to start watching “Bachelor Pad” again because we got to wave goodbye to Kalon.
So from the spelling bee we discovered a few (shocking?) things: Blakely can’t spell “engagement ring,” Kalon can’t spell “rose ceremony” (woot!), and Ed can’t spell aphrodisiac, which OK is a little more difficult but not exactly rocket science. The kid judges weren’t the only ones disgusted.
In the end it was Ed and Jaclynn spelling it out with Chris and Sarah, and as smart old Chris knows how to spell “serendipity,” he won, causing Blakely to cry – a lot.
Chris and Sarah’s overnight date then took them out into the Californian backwoods. There they got back to nature and did a spot of mud wallowing. They had a romantic dinner in the barn, where Chris showed clear signs of being over Emily Maynard. Yay!
Ed and Jaclynn got a romantic ride in a plane. Well, it was romantic until Ed admitted that he has a girl back home. Sigh! It got pretty messed up then as they slept in the same bed because Ed feels safe with her.
Things looked more promising for Tony and Blakely back at the Pad, making out on the throw cushions.
Then there was a twist! Jaclyn and Ed got to gift roses to one couple as a reward for knowing how to spell (a bit.) They chose Tony and Blakely.
So, with alliances getting stronger by the minute, Kalon (yay) and Lindzi (boo) were pushed out of the nest.
But the big question is: are Kalon and Lindzi still an item? Apparently, yes, if Kalon’s Twitter is anything to go by. He just Tweeted a cute photo of the two of them, plus dog, with the hashtag #happyendings. Lindzi seems to have the knack for making Kalon not look so bad, doesn’t she? I think she managed that for Ben, too.
Are you happy for Kalon and Lindzi?
