Baby Boy for Natalie Portman and Benjamin Millepied

Academy Award winner Natalie Portman has yet another reason to celebrate in 2011. She has given birth to a baby boy!

This is the first baby for Portman (30) fand her fiancé Benjamin Millepied. As of right now, we don’t know the exact birth date or any weights or names but we’ll let you have those as soon as we know. The couple seem to be just enjoying time with their newborn son too much to let the rest of us know much about him!

Anyway, the Portman camp seems to be keeping the news of the birth quite hush-hush at the moment but we are sure that will change as parental pride takes over. It’s quite refreshing not to have the news Tweeted from the delivery room!

So, Portman is about to play her most important role yet: new mommy! She and Millepied met when Benjamin, a professional dancer, was the choreographer on her Academy-award-winning movie “Black Swan” and in December 2010 they announced they were engaged. Soon after, news of Portman’s pregnancy broke.

Portman, that rare thing, a Harvard-educated star, won a Best Actress Oscar for her striking portrayal of a ballerina in “Black Swan.” But now she has an even greater prize in her baby son.

Wendy Williams was one of the first celebrities to offer her congratulations. The talk show host tweeted, “Congrats Natalie Portman on your baby boy! Xo”

I’d like to add my own tribute to that: congratulations indeed to Natalie Portman and Benjamin Millepied!
