Kasey Kahl said his singing was not serious or even particularly romantic. He’d done it because his girlfriend Vienna Girardi had been asking him to sing a “Kasey Song.”

Kahl sang for Girardi during Monday night’s episode of the ABC program after presenting her with a promise ring to celebrate their six-month anniversary. He had previously sang to Ali Fedotowsky during a date on her season of The Bachelorette and later on the Men Tell All special.

Speaking on Ryan Seacrest’s KIIS-FM radio show this week, Kahl admitted,

“I am not a singer, I’m not going to try out for American Idol, I promise! It was just a funny little moment where I was trying to make a funny little song because [Vienna] kept begging me to sing a Kasey Song.”

Girardi said the first song he sang was hysterical and made everyone laugh. But then later he sang her “a sweet Kasey Song.”

This was not the first time someone picked up on Kasey Kahl’s singing. On Access Hollywood Live, co-host Kevin Jonas joked that Kasey had a “fantastic singing voice” and “got to the heart of the matter” with his lyrics.

Kit Hoover asked how it felt to be critiqued by a Jonas Brother on his singing, and Kahl said: “I mean, gosh! This is awesome! I’ve always been a big fan of him and the whole crew.”

He had just intended to have fun and enjoy himself. He says he is surprised that since Ali Fedotowsky’s season of The Bachelorette he was known for Kasey’s Songs.

“I made up some pretty funny lyrics so Vienna was like, ‘I want a Kasey Song.’ In fact, the whole cast wanted a Kasey Song.”

Bachelor Pad 2 airs Mondays at 8/7c on ABC.

Russell Armstrong seems to have spared no expense in throwing Taylor an amazing party for her big 4-0. The special party at Beachers Madhouse at the Roosevelt Hotel in Hollywood cost over $60,000.

You may be forgiven that half of Hollywood was invited to the party. But apparently it was a very intimate party with a select group of people. At the time, there was no hint of marital problems between Russell and Taylor Armstrong.

An insider reveals. “On the surface both Taylor and Russell looked happy and were all smiles. He was very attentive to her, maybe even more than usual and I found that to be a bit odd. He followed her around and was by her side the entire time.”

The insider also found it odd that Russell Armstrong was splashing so much cash when the couple’s financial problems were well known. He pent thousands of dollars on expensive tables with bottle service and at the end of the night he turned heads when he presented Taylor with an amazing diamond tennis bracelet! It was a very grand and expensive gesture.”

Another interesting thing about the party was that Russell Armstrong was in charge of the guest lists and the only stars on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills that he invited were co-stars Kyle Richards (who was out of town), Lisa Vanderpump and husband her Ken Todd.

Maybe Russell Armstrong hadn’t forgiven the other Real Housewives for supporting Taylor when he assaulted her so badly she had to get cosmetic surgery on her broken cheekbones.

“David Arquette was there and jokingly yelled ‘get the housewives out of our house,’” the source added. “That made everyone laugh.”

As Celebrity News and Style previously reported to you, Russell Armstrong committed suicide by hanging himself, and his body was found at a friend’s house in Los Angeles on August 15.

A 46-second clip taken from the collaboration between Amy Winehouse and Tony Bennett, called Body and Soul, which will feature on Bennett’s upcoming album Duets II can now be heard by fans.

The track is the last recording that Amy Winehouse completed before she tragically died last month at the age of 27.

Bennett (85) has previously announced that the track will be released as a single, with the profits donated to a foundation to be set up by Winehouse’s father Mitch. He has praised Winehouse as being as fine a jazz singer as many of the greatest in the past.

While things are going well with the release of the jazz duet, the man who registered Amy Winehouse Foundation Ltd with Companies House has hit back at Mitch Winehouse for calling him a “d**khead.”

Winehouse’s legal team are trying to reach an agreement with Martin McCann, from Uxbridge, who Mitch says “stole” the name for his planned charity in memory of his daughter.

McCann also registered the domain name amywinehousefoundation.com shortly after Mitch first announced his plans. He obviously hopes to make money from these decisions but he told The Sun newspaper,

“I’m not exploiting anything yet. I’ve just bought some domain names. Anybody could have. It only takes the click of a mouse. I’m not ashamed or embarrassed. Detach yourself from emotions and think business.”

He lashed out at bereaved father, Mitch, saying, he was trying “to satiate his own needs for the charity. She’s not the only Amy Winehouse in the world.”

Apparently, according to McCann,

“I’m not the d**khead. The d**khead is sitting over there without the name in his possession.”

Mitch has said he will return donation cheques made out to The Amy Winehouse Foundation while the name is still in dispute.

McCann said that he wants to “come to an arrangement” with Mitch regarding the company name and website, but only if he receives an apology for being insulted on Twitter. Presumably, that’s going to involve a lot of money for him.

The FBI has launched on investigation to a threat made toward David Letterman on an online forum intended for use by radical Muslims. Well, the opinion expressed seemed pretty radical, as the poster urged others to “cut the tongue” of the late night funny man for a joke he made on “The Late Show.”

Whether the threat is a literal or figurative threat to the high profile TV star is not known but the FBI are taking it seriously, whether the poster wanted to gag or maim him.

The person who wrote the comment on Tuesday, identified as “Umar al-Basrawi,” instructed users of the Shumuka al-Islam forum to punish Letterman after he made a joke about dead al Qaeda leaders Osama bin Laden and Ilyas Kashmiri on his CBS show June 8.

It is likely the name was an alias and not the poster’s real one. In the post, the person identifying themselves as Al-Basrawi wrote that Letterman had made reference to both Osama bin Laden and Kashmiri and said that Letterman had “put his hand on his neck and demonstrated the way of slaughter.”

He or she (but mostly likely he, I guess) went on to glorify Sayyid Nosair al-Mairi, who was convicted for his part in the 1990 killing of Jewish Defense League founder Meir Kahane.

He called upon someone “to cut the tongue of this lowly Jew and shut it forever.”

The fact that David Letterman is Presbyterian, not Jewish, didn’t seem to matter to the poster!

Al-Basrawi has posted more than 1,200 messages on the Muslim website, according to Adam Raisman, an analyst for the Site Monitoring Service, a private watchdog group.

David Letterman has not yet commented publicly on the threats. He’s on vacation this week.

The couple were about to divorce, following Taylor’s discovery that Russell Armstrong was bisexual and had been unfaithful to her with several men during their marriage.

The couple have a daughter, Kennedy, aged 4.

Despite their difficulties, Taylor is busy preparing a memorial service for her estranged husband.

Meanwhile, Bravo TV executives called a mandatory “crisis” cast meeting yesterday. It was held at Adrienne Maloof’s mansion, and the suicide of co-star Taylor Armstrong’s estranged husband Russell was the topic of conversation.

Bravo asked the housewives to say little to nothing at all to the press about Russell’s suicide. They are still unsure what to do with footage of Taylor and Russell, especially since the couple were working on their marriage through counseling with Dr. Charles Sophy, a board certified psychiatrist, all on camera.

Russell also continued in therapy after filming was finished and Taylor believed he was working through his issues. She says she had no idea he was suicidal.

Taylor has said she does not want to footage of her marriage counseling sessions cut out completely, which would be impossible anyway. She wants to help others going through a divorce.

As we told you previously, Russell (47) was found hanged in the bedroom of a friend’s home in Los Angeles on Monday. The L.A. Coroner’s Office has accepted a verdict of suicide, although no note was found.

All Taylor can do is request that the reality TV show is edited sensitively. Bravo owns all the footage and both she and Russell signed off on having any control with how they were portrayed on the show. Russell and Taylor knew their therapy sessions would be aired. Bravo TV has the final say on what we seen in the show.

Meanwhile, Taylor Armstrong is working on Russell’s memorial. It is thought that his mother then wants to take the body back to Texas for burial.

The season premiere of the popular “Housewives of Beverly Hills” franchise is scheduled for September 5.

Howard Weitzman, Estate lawyer, wrote to the concert promoters, expressing displeasure that one of the bands that will be performing is KISS, whose guitarist, Gene Simmons, publicly accused Michael Jackson of being a hard-core child molester. Weitzman called the inclusion “extraordinarily embarrassing.”

Weitzman is also concerned about what might be happening to proceeds from the concert. He is worried that Michael’s father, Joe Jackson, is behind the concert, saying that the man has always used Michael’s fame for his own gain.

 He even went as far as to suggest that promoters may be illegally using “intellectual property that is controlled by the Estate,” including Michael Jackson images and his songs.

Katherine Jackson was on CNN yesterday, announcing that KISS would play at the “Michael Forever” tribute concert. Yet Gene Simmons went on record last year, a year after Michael Jackson died, saying,

“There is no question in my mind he molested those kids.  Not a doubt. The only sexual references ever made about Michael Jackson that were made by anyone, anywhere around the world, have always been made by kids, and specifically males usually 10 to 14 years of age; never females, that age or older, and never grown men.”

“Hate the man.  Love the music,” he added.

Is a love of Michael Jackson’s music enough of a reason to have him on the tribute concert? Is that the kind of guy to pay a fitting tribute to the King of Pop?

Michael Jackson’s kids have already said they want to attend the October concert inWales, and perhaps speak at it, despite the opposition of their uncles, Jermaine and Randy, who say the timing is inappropriate as the concert will be held during the trial of Michael Jackson’s doctor in connection with the singer’s death.

It looks like the controversy surrounding the Michael Jackson tribute concert is set to continue.

Sources report that Russell Armstrong (47) had hanged himself in the bedroom of his house on Mulholland Drive.

The L.A. City Fire Department arrived at his home and pronounced him dead at 8:16pm on Monday. No suicide note was found but he was found hanging and foul play is not suspected.

Russell had been facing a whole raft of problems before his premature death. His wife of six years, reality TV star Taylor, filed for divorce last month. The couple had separated from him in May, claiming Russell physically abused her.

The couple were seeking joint legal and primary physical custody of their daughter, and cited “irreconcilable differences” as the reason for the split.

Also, along with “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” star Taylor Armstrong, heRussell was being sued for more than $1.5 million for an alleged breach of contract. Legal papers were served at the end of July at the LA Superior Court by MyMedicalRecords.com against Russell Armstrong and his wife Taylor.

It is alleged that the couple accumulated $1 million by tricking people into thinking that they were investing in the company. However, they are said to have used the illegally obtained money to finance their lavish lifestyle instead.

Now Russell Armstrong is dead at the age of 47 and leaves behind a young daughter. We will bring you more details as soon as we have them.

Green Day debuted new material during a concert in California. Among the numbers the punk rock band played at an intimate gig at the Tiki Bar 1700 Placentia in Costa Mesa last week, there was one sing entitled “Amy.”

Green Day have yet to confirm that the track is in a tribute to the late Amy Winehouse. However, a look at the song’s lyrics shows clearly that it is. That is why we have included the lyrics on the video below, so you can see for yourself how Green Day has honoured Amy Winehouse.

Track lyrics include, “Dirty records from another time.” Amy Winehouse was well known as a retro soul singer with a beehive hairstyle reminiscent of the 1950s and ‘60s, as was her vintage clothing style.

“27 and gone without a trace”: as I said above, Amy Winehouse was aged just 27 when she was found in her bed, either unconscious or already dead at her London home. Reports differ as to whether there were signs of life when she was found, but she was pronounced dead at the scene.

“Did you tattoo a lucky charm?” Amy Winehouse’s body was covered with elaborate tattoos, despite some controversy lately that tattoos would be against her professed Jewish faith.

After they played the song live for the first time, the band posted the lyrics to “Amy” online.

Other new tracks premiered during the show included “Nuclear Family,” “Sweet 16” and “Carpe Diem.”

Green Day released a message on their website after the gig: “We have been in jamming and writing new songs for the last few months. It felt great to play these new Green Day songs live and share our ‘work in progress’… Stay tuned for more!”

We told you previously how Prince Harry (26) had hooked up with Jenson Button’s ex-girlfriend back in June. Now it seems it’s all over between them.

The young royal, probably the world’s most eligible bachelor now his elder brother, Prince William, is married off, is said to have told friends he doesn’t want to be “tied down” and is “concentrating on his Apache helicopter training.”

Florence (25) was expected to join the prince for a holiday in Ibiza this month. Instead, Prince Harry and several male friends were recently seen surrounded by bikini-clad girls in Majorca. Flee stayed behind in the UK.

The blonde beauty had previously dated Formula One ace Jenson between 2006 and 2008. It seems that the romance with Prince Harry was much more short-lived, despite Flee being introduced to many of his friends and her telling friends just last month,

“I think I’m in love.”

Things are still all friendly between Harry and Jenson after the relationship. The two men met up at Silverstone in July and the two were spotted having a friendly chat.

Harry had introduced Flee to a string of his friends and she was well thought of within the Royal household.

Lingerie model Flee lives in a $4 million home in Notting Hill, West London. She had known Prince Harry for more than six years before romance blossomed.

As we revealed to you before, Harry and Flee are distant cousins. That’s not unusual in royal couples. They got together after the Prince finally split from on-again-off-again girlfriend Chelsy Davy (25).

Both Chelsy and Flee attended upper class Stowe School in Buckinghamshire.

A Clarence House spokesman said last night of the Prince Harry and Flee split,

“It’s private. We never provide a running commentary on these sorts of things.”

Oh well then we’re just going to have to! Prince Harry and Florence Brudenell-Bruce are no longer dating.
