Graham had in the past been convicted for committing lewd and lascivious acts on a child under the age of 14. At the time he was killed, he was serving a two-year sentence in Wasco State Prison for failing to properly register as a sex offender.
Police believe Graham’s cellmate Joseph Son, who played shoe-throwing villain Random Task in the original Austin Powers movie killed Graham in their cell on October 10. He is now in solitary confinement pending an official investigation into the death.
A case of death has not been released.
Graham’s body was discovered October 10 and Son was named as the prime suspect for the killing. That’s basically because he was the only other person in the cell at the time of the killing.
He was moved in to solitary confinement “for safety reasons.”
Son is already serving a life sentence for the gang rape and torture of a woman in 1990, although his prison sentence only started recently.
It has not yet been announced what difference it would make to Son’s sentence if he is convicted of killing Thomas Graham. As things stand, Son is eligible to apply for parole from his original life sentence.
