There was an arrest made at the “Jersey Shore” house this past weekend. But believe it or not, it wasn’t one of the usual suspects. None of the show’s cast was arrested. Instead, the issue was with a white powder brought in by a friend of The Situation.
A friend of Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino was led away from the Jersey Shore house in handcuffs. He was arrested outside of the Seaside Heights party house for possession of a controlled substance, a “white powdery substance,” at 3 a.m. last Sunday morning.
Detective Steve Korman of the Seaside Height Police Department said that Jonathan Manfre (32) attempted to get into the MTV “Jersey Shore” house when he was met by security staff, along with Seaside Heights off duty security.
The police report says that Patrolman Roth found that he was in possession of a controlled dangerous substance, a white powder.
Manfre is a trainer who has produced a workout DVD with “The Situation.” He was arrested at 3:16 am Sunday, July 24, and taken to the Ocean County jail. He posted the $1,000 bail and was released that night.
So it was Manfre and not cast member DJ Pauly D who was arrested, as some sites are reporting.
Nicknamed “The Unit,” Manfre Tweeted about his arrest, “There are bumps in every road and sometimes we hit a pothole. All we can do is put on the spare and keep it moving towards our destination!”
Clearly, he doesn’t care about the arrest or the white powdery substance, then!
