ANTM 17 Recap: Shannon Out

Last night on America’s Next Top Model All Stars the remaining six contestants headed to sunny Greece. And it wasn’t just the weather that got hot as the competition has got really fierce toward the business end of the competition.

The people left in the competition are: Laura Kirkpatrick, Angelea Preston, Lisa D’Amato, Shannon Stewart, Allison Harvard and Dominique Reighard.

Upon arriving in Greece, the models discovered that their first challenge was to prepare a speech to deliver to dignitaries and the press. They gave their speeches as the exit the plane. Allison won the challenge and was rewarded with a bracelet.

Their next challenge was to model lingerie in a large salad bowl, complete with live oil. It may be no surprise that Shannon kicked off at this and refused to do it, jeopardizing her place in the competition.

She was happy with the next task, though, collaborating with Michael Cinco to create their final runway gown. They told him what they would like and he sketches his interpretation of that.

The winner of the salad bowl task was Dominique. Allison, Angelea, Lisa and Laura also did well. Since Shannon didn’t even participate, the judges eliminated her.

Do you think it’s fair that Shannon was kicked out of America’s Next Top Model for sticking to her guns and saying underwear shots are against her brand? Should she have stayed on or did she deserve to go?
