America’s Next Top Model 2012 Cycle 18 Episode 3 Recap: Louise Threatens Kelly Cutrone

Last night was the third episode of America’s Next Top Model: British Invasion. So far, one British model and one American model have been sent home.  On last week’s episode USA model Mariah, 20, from Pendleton, Oregon was eliminated.

So You Think You Can Dance host Cat Deeley was the guest judge on the final panel.

The drama is already gearing up on America’s Next Top Model Cycle 18. In the preview below of Cycle 18, Episode 3: “Cat Deeley” there was yelling, crying, and someone yelling at Kelly Cutrone.

On this week’s episode the models created an ad campaign which includes casting, wardrobe, providing props and hair and make-up, mentored by Kelly Cutrone.

It really was Brits vs. Americans, as the British girls decided to go to the American girls rooms at 2:30AM and throw balls of paper at the sleeping girls. Symone lost it with them and told the girls to grow up.  She did go a little nuts considering itg was just a joke, didn’t she? The Brits thought so anyway.

They were all excited by a visit from Trya Banks, though. She got a tour of the house and got to brag about her book, Model Land, again. Like last cycle wasn’t all about that. Then she said they all have a super power, or something. So they all get capes!

Tyra assigned each girl an Intoxibella super power:

Sophie – Illuminata

Alisha – Gama-a-tronica

Louise – Chameelone

Katherine – Era Descent

Ashley  Charisma

Annaliese – Excite to buy

AzMarie – Andro Genia

Laura – Zagilicious

Symone – Fiercely Real

Kyle – Next Doorsia

Candace – Exotica

Eboni – 30 Never

No, I don’t know what most of them mean, either.

Tyra urged the girls to think of themselves as whole packages and consider Marketing, Leadership, Strategy, Global Markets, Accounting and Finance.

The Bigger Super Model they become the Bigger Super Mogul they become, apparently.

OK, so next stop was a big warehouse with Kelly to put their super powers to work and get to know every aspect of the model industry.  They had to create an ad campaign for with the theme of love and luxury.  It was the Americans vs. the British in two teams.

The British team made Annaliese their leader with a 60 mod theme.  The American team made AzMarie their leader with a London Punk theme.

With the UK team all over the place, everyone met with Mr. Jay. He’s not impressed  by the British ad campaign either.  And that was when Kelly started in on Louise, saying she has the worst attitude of any of the girls in the competition.  But Mr. Jay congratulated Louise because she pulled it together so fast.

At the panel, Kelly told Louise that she was very rude to her.  Louise told Kelly she was rude to her.  Nigel tells Louise she looked mean, and I just think that was unfair. She is a good model and takes stunning pictures which made Louise storm off in a bad mood, saying she wanted to go home. She soon got her wish.

But it was what happened after the panel that was most interesting. She surely shot herself in the foot by saying that if she met Kelly on the street she would punch her out.

I think they were really mean to her; what do you think?

Best Photo – Azmarie
Runner up – Sophie

Candane, Eboni, Ashley and Alisha were in the bottom three and the judges decided to keep everyone because they can take criticism, which was clearly another crack at Louise.

I think this was one of the worst ANTM episodes I have ever seen.  The superpower theme was childish and it made the photo shoots silly. And although I don’t condone the way Louise chose to air her feelings, I agree that Kelly is a horrible job. She’s pure mean.

Over to you for your thoughts! Will Louise really walk out on America’s Next Top Model.
