American Idol’s Paul McDonald Dating Twilight’s Nikki Reed

“American Idol” resident smiler, Paul McDonald, and Twilight star, Nikki Reed, are dating, according to “E! Online”. The rumors circulated after the pair were filmed getting up close and personal at the recent movie premiere of “Red Riding Hood” and it seems that things have gone from good to great between the two of them.

Paul McDonald and Nikki Reed. This is such an unexpected pairing, it’s shocking, but just in case it turns out to be true, we didn’t want you to miss out on what would be mega news. Apparently, Nikki is calling Paul her “boyfriend”.

That the two have met is fact. They were caught on film meeting on the red carpet at the premiere of “Red Riding Hood” and we know that the beautiful Nikki gushed at Paul,

“You’re amazing. I’m blushing. I should go…”

We even know they hugged, because that was filmed too. But we didn’t know until today that Paul was foretelling the future when he said,

“Wow, was she a famous actress? I would definitely hang out with her!”

Things apparently progressed from there and while Paul McDonald has been in Hollywood for “American Idol”, Nikki is filming the next “Twilight: Breaking Dawn” in Canada, so getting together hasn’t been easy, but insiders at both shows say the pair have been in constant contact over Skype. Rumors also surfaced that Taylor Lautner is more than a little interested in “American Idol” finalist, Lauren Alaina! But the insider that brought us the Paul/Nikki story hotly denies that is true.

So, Paul and Nikki, sitting in a tree, k-i-s-s-i-n-g… cute couple er what?
