American Idol 2012 Season 11 Scandal: Jermaine Jones Disqualified From Top 12 TONIGHT?

Filed under : Celebrity News, Featured

Woweeee! The American Idol 2012 competition could be blown apart this week. Rumor has it that one contestant is about to be disqualified this week due to a criminal past which includes violence.

And who is this nasty piece of work supposed to be? None other than “gentle giant” Jermaine Jones. He may not be so gentle after all!

Already causing controversy on the show for allegedly concocting a rift between himself and his father, it has now been asserted that the American Idol performer has outstanding warrants for his arrest and concealed this information from the American Idol production team. Once production learned of the events they confronted this finalist and they were disqualified. Those events will allegedly be shown on tonight’s episode of American Idol.

Jermaine Jones posted the following Tweet to his account earlier on Tuesday, March 3rd at 9:25PM ET:

“Awww I will no longer b on the show”

A half hour later the Tweet was deleted, but not before we captured a screenshot from Twitter (see picture).

Shortly after that Jones retweeted the following message from one of his fans:

“Well damnit, I am pissed about @JJonesAI11 being disqualified from #AmericanIdol.”

For whatever reason, Jermaine seems to be okay with retweeting a message that indicates he was kicked off, but just doesn’t want to post the “aww” message anymore as a confirmation.

Now here’s where we get serious. This source of this story is TMZ and they have been wrong before. It could just be a joke by Jermaine, but if it’s someone else being disqualified, this doesn’t seem very funny, does it?

Anyway, if we hear anything else through the day we will let you know. Otherwise tune in to American Idol tonight and get the truth. But if it is true, do you think it’s fair to disqualify a singer for a criminal past?

I think its messed up if he gets kicked off the show because of his criminal past. That’s problem with today society it seems if you make a mistake you never can get past it because people are so judgemental and don’t believe in second chances until they’re the one that needs a second chance.
