America’s Got Talent Recap: Wildcard Round Results

Last night, four more acts moved on to the “America’s Got Talent” semi-finals next week. What was special about this week was that they were all wild card acts who had previously failed to progress in the competition.

So would any of the acts be any good? Oh yes, the previous night’s program saw some amazing talent we might otherwise have let slip away. So who has now made it through the Last Chance Saloon into the semi-finals of “America’s Got Talent”?

First, Shovane, Yellow Design Stunt Team and West Springfield Dance Team were called up on stage. That upset Sharon Osborne as she wanted all of them to go through and we then knew that was not possible. But West Springfield Dance Team triumphed.

After a 25th Anniversary performance of “One More Day” from Les Miserable for the acts to aspire to, or to put them off a career in showbiz completely, Avery and the Calico Hearts, Charles Peachock, Those Funny Little People and The Kinetic Kid were called to the stage. Piers Morgan compared the Kinetic Kid to Rocky Balboa to it’s just as well that he advanced to the next round. Cute bow down to him from Piers.

Landon Swank and Seth Grabel are called to the stage next.  Howie gave some words of encouragement before we found out Lando Swank is moving to the next round.

So that left only one spot in the “America’s Got Talent” semi-finals. Who would fill it?  We didn’t get to find out until Colbie Caillat performed her new single and told us about her tour starting August 24th No great singer in my opinion but a classy lady.

Next up were the remaining anxious competitors. We didn’t have to wait much longer to find out that Summerwind Skippers made it through.

So that’s it, folks – your line-up for the “America’s Got Talent” semi-finals.

What happened to your favorite? Are you excited for the semis?

I believe the three judges on America’s Got Talent act like three little children. I do wish they would think about the contestants rather than themselves for a change. The bantering between Piers and Howie (and sometimes Sharon)is absolutely ridiculous. Their behavior detracts from the show. The contestants work very hard and each group or individual wants to win the honor and money award so very much. They deserve the spotlight, not the judges who already have fame and fortune! By the way, Nick is GREAT!
