Adrienne Maloof has been awarded temporary custody of her three sons after telling a judge her estranged husband, Paul Nassif, choked one of their boys last Thursday and in another incident spanked one of them in the bath.
Adrienne’s lawyer went to court and filed a declaration she wrote, in which she claimed Paul picked their three boys up from school Thursday and two of the boys were kicking each other. She alleges that Paul then reached back and took the boy’s throat in a choke hold.
According to Adrienne, later that day, the boys were bathing together when one of them supposedly peed in the tub and the other boys started fighting. Adrienne claims Paul then grabbed one of the boys, spanked him hard on the bare butt and “threw him in the corner.”
The couple’s chef has also filed a declaration claiming he witnessed Paul kicking the family dog when it peed on the floor. A DEA agent who is friends with the couple filed yet another declaration claiming he witnessed Paul putting his hands around the neck of one of the children.
The complaints against Paul are mounting but he was apparently not told of the hearing so he did not appear in court. However, he denies all of these charges against him.
Paul’s lawyer, Lisa Meyer called the complaints underhand, especially as Adrienne did not witness any of these alleged incidents herself.
“It is a sad day when parents have to stoop to the level of making false allegations against another parent.” She said, calling Adrienne’s court action “gamesmanship at its worst.”
