“Twilight” actor Kiowa Gordon almost missed out on a major movie audition when he was arrested for an outstanding warrant this Monday. He missed a casting call because of the arrest which kept him in custody until Wednesday. But producers are willing to give him a second chance, lucky boy!
Kiowa Gordon (21), the actor who plays wolf pack member, Embry Call, in the popular “Twilight” series, was on a road trip from his home in Arizona to Hollywood, Los Angeles for a big movie audition when he was arrested Monday morning. His audition should have been that afternoon.
But Kiowa missed his casting call when he was pulled over for a routine registration check after he was spotted driving erratically in Tempe. A cop then noticed there was an outstanding warrant out for Kiowa’s arrest, in connection with an incident in 2010. He is wanted for failing to appear in court in February 2010 after pleasing guilty to possession and use of drug paraphernalia, giving liquor to a minor and underage consumption.
He was therefore taken into custody on Monday and did not file bail until Wednesday morning, so he missed his audition.
But Hollywood sources report that producers agreed to reschedule the audition after learning about Gordon’s arrest.
Kiowa Gordon is set to head back to Hollywood this week but this time it is for a “Twilight” photo shoot. Embry has appeared in “New Moon” and “Eclipse” and will soon be seen in the next instalment of the “Twilight” series, “Breaking Dawn.”
What do you think to Kiowa Gordon’s arrest? Would you have given the “Twilight” star a second chance to audition?
